The Greene County Marsh Madness Festival will be a destination for visitors from across the Midwest, celebrating the county's richly abundant and inherently beautiful natural areas, the centerpiece of which will be the spring migration of waterfowl and cranes to Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area. Interpretive programs, educational material and artistic displays will inspire festival goers while instilling in them a strong conservation ethic.
Join us in Linton, Indiana, for the 5th annual Greene County Marsh Madness Festival on February 28 and March 1, 2014 to see thousands of waterfowl and sandhill cranes during their annual Spring migration through Greene County. Events include: bus tours of the Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area, Live and Silent Auction, Hardy Lake Bird Rehab Program with live birds of prey on display, Kids Activities, Dog Demonstrations, Live Snake Presentations, Speakers, Workshops, Video and Arts & Crafts exhibit and sales.
Marsh Madness is brought to you in a cooperative effort by the Friends of Goose Pond, Linton Civitan Club, Linton Rotary Club, Carnegie Heritage and Art Center, The City of Linton, Linton Public Library, Sassafras Audubon Society, Greene County Daily World, Linton First Christian Church, and Indiana Division of Fish & Wildlife.
